2. Personal data we process

• Contact form / direct correspondence: name, email, organization, message content.
• Newsletter subscription (operated via Buttondown): email address, subscription date, engagement data.
• Website analytics (Plausible): aggregated, anonymous data - no cookies, no personal identifiers.
• Client engagement: data collected as part of a mandate is processed per the engagement letter.
• CRM (Attio, EU-hosted): contact and relationship data of prospects and clients.

3. Legal basis for processing

• Performance of contract or pre-contractual measures for client engagements.
• Consent for newsletter subscriptions (double-opt-in).
• Legitimate interest for prospect outreach and CRM maintenance.
• Legal obligation for retention of client records.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share personal data only with service providers that process data on our behalf (Buttondown, Attio, Vercel, Cloudflare, Plausible), with professional advisors where necessary, and with regulatory authorities where required by law.

5. International transfers

Service providers are primarily located in the EU. Where data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EU, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards.

6. Retention

Direct correspondence: retained as long as the relationship is active. Newsletter data: until unsubscribe. Client engagement records: per Swiss commercial-law retention requirements (typically 10 years).

7. Your rights

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews.
